Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28442

Qutayba bin Saeed narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Aqeel, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Hamza bin Abdullah bin Omar, on the authority of Ibn Omar, he said: I heard The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “While I was sleeping, a cup of milk was brought to me and I drank from it, then I gave my surplus to Omar bin Al-Khattab. They said, “What have you interpreted, O Messenger of God?” He said, “Knowledge.” He said, “And in the chapter on the authority of Abu Hurairah, Abu Bakra, and Ibn Abbas, Abdullah bin Salam, Khuzaymah, Tufail bin Sukhbara, Samra, Abu Umamah and Jabir. He said the hadith of Ibn Umar is an authentic hadith.
