Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28639

Abbas bin Muhammad al-Duri narrated to us, Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri narrated to us, Saeed bin Abi Ayyub narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Marhum Abd al-Rahim Ibn Maimun, on the authority of Sahl Ibn Muadh Ibn Anas Al-Juhani, on the authority of his father, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever abandons clothing Out of humility before God, and He has power over him, God will call him on the Day of Resurrection before the heads of creation so that he will give him the choice of whatever garment of faith he wishes to wear. “This is a good hadith. The meaning of his saying is “the reward of faith.” It means the reward of Paradise that will be given to the people of faith.
