Hadith #28642
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Abu Ahmad Al-Zubayri told us, Khaled bin Tahman Abu Al-Ala told us, Husayn told us, he said a questioner came. He asked Ibn Abbas, and Ibn Abbas said to the questioner, “Do you bear witness that there is no god but Allah?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “Do you bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger?” God said yes. He said and fast Ramadan. He said yes. He said you asked and the questioner has a right. It is a right upon us that we should reach you. So he gave him a garment. Then he said, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “There is no Muslim who covers another Muslim except that he is in God’s protection as long as he has it on him.” “A rag.” He said, “This is a good and strange hadith from this perspective.”
