Hanad and Ahmad bin Mani’ narrated to us, saying: Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Nu’man bin Sa’d, On the authority of Ali, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Indeed, in Paradise there will be a gathering of the fair-eyed men raising voices that have not been heard.” Creatures are like her. He said, “They say, ‘We are the immortal ones, so we will not perish. We are the gentle ones, so we will not be distressed. We are the ones who are satisfied, so we will not be angry. Blessed are those who are satisfied.’” “He was ours and we were his.” And on the authority of Abu Hurairah, Abu Sa’id, and Anas. Abu Issa said, “Ali’s hadith is a strange hadith.”
