Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26426

Salama bin Shabib, Ahmad bin Ibrahim Al-Durqi, Al-Hasan bin Ali Al-Halwani, Abdullah bin Munir, and others told us, they said: Yazid bin Harun told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Asim bin Kulayb, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Wa’il bin Hajar, he said, I saw the Messenger of When God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prostrates, he places his knees before his hands, and when he gets up, he raises his hands before his knees. Zad al-Hasan bin Ali said in His hadith: Yazid bin Harun said, and no partner narrated on the authority of Asim bin Kulayb except this hadith. Abu Issa said: This is a good, strange hadith, not We know someone who narrated something like this on the authority of a partner. This is acted upon according to most people of knowledge, who believe that a man should place his knees before His hands, and when he gets up, he raises his hands before his knees. Hammam narrated this on the authority of Asim, mursal, but he did not mention Wael bin Hajar in it.
