Hadith #28887
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ هَلْ كَانَتِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ فِي أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Suwayd told us, Abdullah told us, Hammam told us, on the authority of Qatada, he said, I said to Anas bin Malik, was the handshake common among the companions? The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said yes. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
