Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29545

Al-Ansari told us, Maan told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Abu Ubaid, the client of Ibn Azhar, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “One of you will be answered as long as he is not in a hurry and says, ‘I prayed, but my supplication was not answered.’” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. Abu Ubaid, whose name is Saad, and he is the client of Abd al-Rahman bin Azhar, and it is also said that he is the client of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf and Abd al-Rahman bin Azhar is the cousin of Abdul Rahman bin Awf. He said, and on the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him.
