حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، بِالْمَدِينَةِ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ أَيْنَ عُلَمَاؤُكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَنْهَى عَنْ هَذِهِ الْقُصَّةِ وَيَقُولُ
" إِنَّمَا هَلَكَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ حِينَ اتَّخَذَهَا نِسَاؤُهُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ .
Suwayd told us, Abdullah told us, Yunus told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, Humaid bin Abdul Rahman told us that he heard Muawiyah, In Medina, he delivers a sermon, saying, “Where are your scholars, O people of Medina? I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbidding this story.” He says: “The Children of Israel were destroyed when their women took them.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. It was narrated. On the authority of Muawiyah.
