Hadith #26269
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, with this chain of transmission and a similar one. Abu said: Jesus, this is a good and authentic hadith. Water was only from water at the beginning of Islam and then it was abrogated after that. And this is how more than one person narrated it. Among the companions of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, were Ubayy ibn Ka’b and Rafi’ ibn Khadij. This is acted upon according to most people of knowledge, that if If a man has private intercourse with his wife, they must wash, even if they have not ejaculated.
