حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ نَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ لاَ تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ أَوْ صُورَةٌ . شَكَّ إِسْحَاقُ لاَ يَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا قَالَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Ruh bin Ubadah told us, Malik bin Anas told us, on the authority of Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abi Talha, that Rafi’ bin Ishaq told him. He said, “Abdullah bin Abi Talha and I entered upon Abu Sa’id al-Khudri to bring him back.” He said, “Abu Sa’id informed us.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that angels do not enter a house in which there are statues or pictures. Ishaq was in doubt. He does not know which one he said. Abu Issa said. This is a good and authentic hadith
