حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَانِ أَخْضَرَانِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِيَادٍ ‏.‏ وَأَبُو رِمْثَةَ التَّيْمِيُّ يُقَالُ اسْمُهُ حَبِيبُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ وَيُقَالُ اسْمُهُ رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ يَثْرِبِيٍّ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us, Ubayd Allah bin Iyad bin Laqit narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Rimtha, He said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wearing two green garments. Abu Issa said: This is a good, strange hadith. We do not know it except from The hadith of Ubayd Allah bin Iyad. And Abu Ramthah Al-Taymi, whose name is said to be Habib bin Hayyan, and his name is said to be Rifa’ah bin Yathribi.
