Hadith #28994
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Mansur, on the authority of Hilal bin Yasaf, on the authority of Al-Rabi’ bin Umaylah. Al-Fazari, on the authority of Samurah ibn Jundub, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Do not name your boy Rabah, Falah, Yasar, or Najih. It is said that He committed a sin, so it is said, “No.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
