حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَ قِيلَ لَهَا هَلْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَمَثَّلُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَتَمَثَّلُ بِشِعْرِ ابْنِ رَوَاحَةَ وَيَتَمَثَّلُ وَيَقُولُ ‏ "‏ وَيَأْتِيكَ بِالأَخْبَارِ مَنْ لَمْ تُزَوِّدِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Ali bin Hajar told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Al-Miqdam bin Shurayh, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, it was said to her: Was the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, He imitates some poetry. She said: He used to imitate Ibn Rawaha’s poetry and imitate and say, “And he will bring you news whoever has not “Supply.” And on the authority of Ibn Abbas, Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
