Hadith #29213
Abu Saeed Al-Ashjaj told us, Mansour bin Wardan told us, on the authority of Ali bin Abdul-Ala, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Al-Bakhtari, on the authority of Ali, He said when it was revealed: (And by God is the duty of the people to perform Hajj to the House, whoever is able to make a way to it.) They said, O Messenger of God, every year, but he remained silent. They said O Messenger of God, every year he said, “No, and if I had said yes, it would have been obligatory.” Then God revealed: (O you who have believed, do not ask about “Things that, if revealed to you, would displease you.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith from the hadith of Ali.” And on the authority of Abu Hurairah. And son Abbas.
