Hadith #29100
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, he said, Abu Dawud told us, he said, Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Mansour, he said, I heard Abu Wael, on the authority of Abd God, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “It is evil for one of them or for one of you to say, ‘I forgot a verse. I did it and I did it.’ Rather, he forgot, so remember.” “The Qur’an, by the One in Whose Hand is my soul, is more detailed than the breasts of men, and more blessings than its mind.” This is a good and authentic hadith.
