Jami at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29015

Qutaibah narrated to us, Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Kathir bin Shindhir, on the authority of Ata bin Abi Rabah, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, he said, he said The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “ Cover the utensils, fill the watering-pans, close the doors, and put out the lamps, for the ravens are perhaps The wick ignited and burned the Ahl al-Bayt.” He said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith.
