حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ الأَوْدِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى الصَّحِيفَةِ الَّتِي عَلَيْهَا خَاتَمُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلْيَقْرَأْ هَذِهِ الآيَاتِ ‏:‏ ‏(‏ قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ ‏)‏ الآيَةَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ‏:‏ ‏(‏ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ ‏)‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏
Al-Fadl bin Al-Sabbah Al-Baghdadi told us, Muhammad bin Fudayl told us, on the authority of Daoud Al-Awdi, on the authority of Al-Sha’abi, on the authority of Alqama, on the authority of Abdullah, He said: Whoever is pleased to look at the scroll on which is the seal of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, should recite these verses: (Say: Come and recite what your Lord has forbidden to you.) The verse leads to his saying: (Perhaps you will become righteous). Abu Issa said this is a good hadith. Strange...
