Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29417

Abdul bin Humayd told us, Abdul Razzaq told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him: (And ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women.) The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, I seek forgiveness from God on the seventieth day.” Once. He said: This is a good and authentic hadith. “One hundred times a day.” It has been narrated through more than one authority on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. “I ask God for forgiveness a hundred times a day.” “And it was narrated by Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah.
