حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَهَكَذَا حَدَّثَنَا هُوَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بَشَّارٍ وَرَوَى عَنْهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Ibn Abi Adi narrated to us, on the authority of Hisham, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was arrested when he was the son of Sixty-five, and this is how he told us, meaning Ibn Bashar, and Muhammad bin Ismail narrated something similar from him.
