Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29837

Al-Ansari told us, he said, Maan told us, he said, Ishaq bin Yahya bin Talha told us, on the authority of his uncle Ishaq bin Talha, on the authority of Aisha, that Abu Bakr came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, “You are God’s emancipator from the Fire.” On that day, he was called Atiq. This is a hadith. Strange. Some of them narrated this hadith on the authority of Maan, and he said, on the authority of Musa bin Talha, on the authority of Aisha.
