Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29839

Muhammad bin Bashar and Muhammad bin Rafi’ narrated to us, saying: Abu Amir Al-Aqdi narrated to us, saying: Kharijah bin Abdullah Al-Ansari narrated to us, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Oh God, honor Islam by making these two men dearer to you.” “By Abu Jahl or Omar bin Al-Khattab.” He said, “And the most beloved of them to him was Omar.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith from Hadith of Ibn Umar.
