Hadith #29844
Salama bin Shabib narrated to us, he said, Al-Muqri narrated to us, on the authority of Haywa bin Shurayh, on the authority of Bakr bin Amr, on the authority of Musharrah bin Haaan, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “If there had been a prophet after me, it would have been Omar bin Al-Khattab.” He said, “This is a good, strange hadith.” No We know it only from the hadith of Musharrah ibn Haaan.
