حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، وَغَيْرُ، وَاحِدٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ زُفَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِجَنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْنَاكَ تَرَكْتَ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ قَبْلَ هَذَا قَالَ
" إِنَّهُ كَانَ يَبْغَضُ عُثْمَانَ فَأَبْغَضَهُ اللَّهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ صَاحِبُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ضَعِيفٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ جِدًّا وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ صَاحِبُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ هُوَ بَصْرِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا الْحَارِثِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الأَلْهَانِيُّ صَاحِبُ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ثِقَةٌ يُكْنَى أَبَا سُفْيَانَ شَامِيٌّ .
Al-Fadl bin Abi Talib Al-Baghdadi, and more than one person, narrated to us. They said, Othman bin Zufar narrated to us. He said, Muhammad bin Ziyad narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad. Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was brought to the funeral of a man who was praying for him, but he did not perform the funeral prayer. Then it was said, “O Messenger of God, we have never seen you abandon praying over anyone before this.” He said, “He used to hate Uthman, but God hated him.” . The hadith is very good, and Muhammad bin Ziyad, the companion of Abu Hurairah, is a trustworthy Basri, and he is nicknamed Abu Al-Harith, and Muhammad bin Ziyad Al-Ilahani, the companion of my father. Imamah is trustworthy, nicknamed Abu Sufyan Shami.
