Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29876

Ismail bin Musa Al-Fazari Ibn Bint Al-Suddi narrated to us, he said, Sharik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Rabi’ah, on the authority of Ibn Buraidah, on the authority of his father, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “God commanded me to love four people and told me that He loves them.” It was said, “O Messenger of God, name them.” To us, he said, “Ali is one of them who says that three times, and Abu Dharr, Al-Miqdad, and Salman ordered me to love them and told me that he loves them.” “This is a good, strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of a partner.
