Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29875

Wasil bin Abdul-Ala told us, he said Muhammad bin Fudayl told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Abi Al-Nasr, on the authority of Al-Masawar Al-Himyari, on the authority of his mother, said: I went to see Umm Salamah and heard her saying, The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say, “He does not like Ali.” A hypocrite, and no believer should hate him.” And on the authority of Ali, and this is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. And Abdullah bin Abd al-Rahman is Abu Nasr al-Warraq, and Sufyan al-Thawri narrated from him.
