Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29912

Qutaibah narrated to us, he said: Al-Layth bin Sa’d and Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad narrated to us, on the authority of Yahya bin Sa’id, on the authority of Sa’id bin al-Musayyab, on the authority of Sa’d. Ibn Abi Waqqas said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, gathered his parents for me on the day of Uhud. This is a good and authentic hadith. This hadith was narrated. On the authority of Abdullah bin Shaddad bin Al-Had, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
