Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29911

Al-Hasan bin Al-Sabah Al-Bazzar narrated to us, he said, Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, on the authority of Ali bin Zayd and Yahya bin Saeed, they heard Saeed bin Al-Musayyab, He says: Ali said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought his father and mother together for anyone except for Saad. He said to him on the day of Uhud, “May your ransom be sacrificed.” My father and my mother, and he said to him, ‘Throw away, you arrogant boy.’” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith, and more than one person has narrated this.” The hadith on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed, on the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Saad.
