Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29985

Qutaibah told us, he said, Ja’far bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Al-Ja’d Abu Uthman, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, passed by and I heard My mother, Umm Salim, had a sound voice, so she said, “May my father be sacrificed for you and my mother, O Messenger of God, Unais.” He said, “So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed for me.” Three supplications, two of which I have seen in this world, and I hope for the third in the Hereafter. This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith from this perspective. This hadith was narrated through more than one authority, on the authority of Anas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
