حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ جَاءَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْسَ بِرَاكِبِ بَغْلٍ وَلاَ بِرْذَوْنَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, he said, Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us, he said, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, he said, The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came to me neither riding a mule nor wearing a luggage. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
