Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #30066

Abu Kurayb told us, he said, Abu Yahya Al-Hammani told us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Tariq bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “O God, you made the first of the Quraysh taste punishment, so make the last of them taste punishment.” This is a good hadith. It is authentic and strange. Abd al-Wahhab al-Warraq told us, he said: Yahya bin Sa`id al-Umawi told us, on the authority of al-A’mash, and something similar.
