حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِمَكَّةَ ‏ "‏ مَا أَطْيَبَكِ مِنْ بَلَدٍ وَأَحَبَّكِ إِلَىَّ وَلَوْلاَ أَنَّ قَوْمِي أَخْرَجُونِي مِنْكِ مَا سَكَنْتُ غَيْرَكِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Musa Al-Basri narrated to us, he said, Al-Fudayl bin Sulaiman narrated to us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym, he said, Saeed bin Sulaiman narrated to us. Jubayr, and Abu Tufayl, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Mecca: “What a good country you are and how beloved you are to me.” “Had my people not expelled me from you, I would not have lived anywhere else.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith from this perspective.”
