Hadith #36812
فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: يا عبد الرحمن بن سمرة! أنت لا تريد القيادة. لأنك إذا حصلت على القيادة بعد السؤال سلمت إليها. وإذا لم تطلبه ستساعد عليه. (البخاري
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: O 'Abdur Rahman Ibn Samurah! You don't want leadership. Because, if you get leadership after asking, then you will be handed over to it. And if you don't ask for it, you will be helped for it. (Bukhari
