Hadith #36889
وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أتى على المريض أو إذا قدم عليه المريض قال: أذهب الوجع. يا رب الناس اشف أنت الشافي وحدك. غير شفاؤك فلا شفاؤك . لا تعطي شفاءً لا يغادر ولو قليل من السقم. (البخاري الجزء 75 باب 20 حديث رقم 5675 ؛ مسلم 39/19 ح 2191)
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a rule that when he came to a sick person or when a sick person was brought to him, he would say: Remove the pain. O Lord of mankind, heal, You are the only healer. Other than your healer There is no healer. Don't give a cure that doesn't leave even a little disease. (Bukhari Part 75 Chapter 20 Hadith No. 5675; Muslim 39/19, Hah 2191)
