حديث أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، كَانَتْ، إِذَا أُتِيَتْ بِالْمَرْأَةِ قَدْ حُمَّتْ تَدْعُو لَهَا، أَخَذَتِ الْمَاءَ فَصَبَّتْهُ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ جَيْبِهَا قَالَتْ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَبْرُدَهَا بِالْمَاءِ
The hadith of Asma’ bint Abi Bakr: When a woman was brought with a fever to pray for her, she would take water and pour it between her and her pocket. She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was ordering us to cool it with water.
