Hadith #36999
قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «كان الأشعري إذا احتاجوا في الجهاد، أو نقص أهلهم بالمدينة الطعام، جمعوا كل ما عندهم في ثوب». ثم يقيسونها بالجرة ويتقاسمونها بالتساوي فيما بينهم. ولذلك فهم لي وأنا لهم. (البخاري جزء 47 باب 1 حديث رقم 2486 ؛ مسلم 44/39 ه 2500)
He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that when the tribesmen of Ash'ari were in need during Jihad or their family members in Madinah lacked food, they gathered everything they had into a cloth. Then they measure it with a jar and share it equally among themselves. They are therefore mine and I theirs. (Bukhari Part 47 Chapter 1 Hadith No. 2486; Muslim 44/39 Ha. 2500)
