Hadith #37036
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لا تصوموا قبل رمضان، صوموا لرؤية القمر، وأفطروا لرؤية القمر، فإن غشيته السحابة بين يديه، فأكملوا ثلاثين يوما». (الترمذي 688، حسن صحيح)
He said, The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not fast before Ramadan. Fast at the sight of the moon and break the fast at the sight of the moon. And if a cloud hides it in front of it, complete thirty days (of the month)." (Tirmidhi 688, Hasan correct)
