Hadith #37860
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: الطِّفْلُ لَا يُصَلّى عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يَرِثُ وَلَا يُوَرَّثُ حَتّى يَسْتَهِلَّ . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ إِلَّا أَنَّه لَمْ يَذْكُرْ: وَلَا يُوْرَثُ
And on the authority of Jabir that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: The child may not be prayed over, inherited, or bequeathed until he completes the inheritance. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, but he did not mention: It is not inherited.
