وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ جَاءَتْ عَمَّتِىْ بِأَبِىْ لِتَدْفِنَه فِىْ مَقَابِرِنَا فَنَادى مُنَادِىْ رَسُولِ اللّهِ ﷺ: «رُدُّوا الْقَتْلى إِلى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ وَلَفْظُه لِلتِّرْمِذِيِ
On the authority of Jabir, he said: When it was the day of Uhud, my aunt brought my father to bury him in our graves, and the herald of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called out: “Return the dead to me.” “Their beds.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Al-Nasa’i, and Al-Darimi, and his wording is by Al-Tirmidhi.
