And on the authority of Salih, a servant of Sa’d, that Sa’d found some of the slaves of the city cutting down the trees of the city, so he took their belongings and said, meaning To their masters, I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, forbidding cutting down any of the trees of the city, and he said: “Whoever cuts down any of it, then its plunder is for the one who takes it.” He narrated it Abu Dawood
