Hadith #38024
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ بِالْخَيْرِ وَكَانَ أَجْوَدَ مَا يَكُونُ فِىْ رَمَضَان وَكَانَ جِبْرِيلُ يَلْقَاهُ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ فِىْ رَمَضَانَ يَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ الْقُرْاٰنَ فَإِذَا لَقِيَه جِبْرِيلُ كَانَ أَجْوَدُ بِالْخَيْرِ مِنَ الرِّيْحِ الْمُرْسَلَةِ. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most generous of people with goodness, and he was the most generous in Ramadan, and Gabriel used to meet him every... One night in Ramadan, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was showing him the Qur’an. When Gabriel met him, he was more generous with goodness than the sent wind. (agreed)
