Hadith #39979
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيْدَ الْخَطْمِىِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ ﷺ أَنَّه كَانَ يَقُولُ فِىْ دُعَائِه: «اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِىْ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يَنْفَعُنِىْ حُبُّه عِنْدَكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ مَا رَزَقْتَنِىْ مِمَّا أُحِبُّ فَاجْعَلْهُ قُوَّةً لِىْ فِيمَا تُحِبُّ اَللّٰهُمَّ مَا زَوَيْتَ عَنِّىْ مِمَّا أُحِبُّ فَاجْعَلْهُ فَرَاغًا لِىْ فِيْمَا تُحِبُّ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِىُّ
On the authority of Abdullah bin Yazid Al-Khattami, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he used to say in his supplication: “O God, grant me your love and the love of those who It is of benefit to me to love him with you. Oh God, whatever you have given me of what I love, make it a strength for me in what you love. Oh God, whatever you have removed from me of what I love So make it empty
