Hadith #38474
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ لِيُصَلِّيَ افْتَتَحَ صَلَاتَه بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيْفَتَيْنِ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Aisha, she said: Whenever the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, got up at night to pray, he would begin his prayer with two light rak’ahs. Narrated by Muslim
