قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لحياة رجل ملك فرسا في سبيل الله خير من حياة الناس جميعا، يطير على فرس عند صوت الحرب، أو يطير على ظهره خوف عدو». يركب (بسرعة سريعة) ويسعى للاستشهاد أو الموت في مكانه المحتمل. أو ذلك الشخص (الحياة أفضل) الذي يبقى مع قطيعه من الماعز على قمة جبل أو في وسط واد. يصلي كعادته، ويؤتي الزكاة، والموت ينخرط في عبادة ربه. وهذا الرجل هو أفضل مكان بين الناس. (مسلم رقم: 4997)
He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The life of a person who reins a horse in the way of Allah is better than the life of all people, who flies on a horse at the sound of a war cry or flies on his back at the fear of an enemy.” Rides (with swift speed) and seeks martyrdom or death in its (own) possible place. Or that person (life is best) who stays with his flock of goats on a mountain peak or in the middle of a valley. Praying as usual, giving Zakat and Death is engaged in the worship of its Lord. This person is in the best position among the people.” (Muslim No. 4997)
