Hadith #38507
وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ: أَنَّه سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ قَاعِدًا. قَالَ: «إِنْ صَلّى قَائِمًا فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ وَمَنْ صَلّى قَاعِدًا فَلَه نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَائِمِ وَمَنْ صَلّى نَائِمًا فَلَه نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَاعِدِ». رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيُّ
On the authority of Imran bin Husayn: He asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about a man’s prayer while sitting. He said: “If he prays standing, that is better, and whoever prays sitting will have half the reward of one standing, and whoever prays while sleeping will have half the reward of one sitting.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari
