Hadith #38508
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ ﷺ: صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنى مَثْنى فَإِذَا خَشِيَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصُّبْحَ صَلّى رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً تُوْتِرُ لَه مَا قَدْ صَلّى. (مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Ibn Omar, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: The night prayer is two by two, so if one of you fears the morning prayer, he should pray one rak’ah that will make what he had already prayed sufficient. (agreed)
