وعنه قال: كنا بالمدينة فإذا أذن المؤذن لصلاة المغرب ابتدروا السواري، فركعوا ركعتين، حتى إن الرجل الغريب ليدخل المسجد فيحسب أن الصلاة قد صليت من كثرة من يصليهما. ((رواه مسلم)).
On his authority, he said: We were in Medina, and when the muezzin called for the Maghrib prayer, they would rush to the pillars and kneel down two rak’ahs, to the point that a strange man entering the mosque would think that the prayer had been prayed due to the large number of people praying them. ((Narrated by Muslim)).
