Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #38815

On the authority of Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa Al-Ash’ari, may God be pleased with him, he said: Abdullah bin Omar, may God be pleased with them both, said: Did you hear your father speaking on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, regarding the Friday hour? He said: I said: Yes, I heard him say: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: “It is the time between when the imam sits until the prayer is finished” ((Narrated by Muslim)).
