Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #38844

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that a Bedouin came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and said: O Messenger of God, direct me to a deed that if I do it, I will enter Paradise. He said: “You worship God and do not associate anything with Him, and perform prayers, and pay the obligatory zakat, and fast Ramadan.” He said: By the One in whose hand is my soul, I will not do more than this. When he passed away, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever is pleased to look at a man from the people of Paradise, let him look To this” ((Agreed upon)).
