Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #38935

On the authority of Abu Umamah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed with many supplications, of which we did not memorize anything. We said: “O Messenger of God, I prayed with many supplications, of which we did not memorize anything.” He said: “Shall I not inform you of what brings it all together?” You say: “O God, I ask you of the best of which your Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, asked you, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of which your Prophet Muhammad sought refuge from.” May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and you are the One who is being helped, and upon you “The conveyance of the message, and there is no power nor strength except with God.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and who said it was a good hadith.
