Hadith #39032
وعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏"‏من أكل ثومًا أو بصلا فليعتزلنا، أو فليعتزل مسجدنا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏ وفي رواية لمسلم‏:‏ ‏"‏من أكل البصل، والثوم، الكراث، فلا يقربن مسجدنا، فإن الملائكة تتأذى مما يتأذى منه بنو آدم‏"‏‏.‏
On the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever eats garlic or onions, let him isolate himself from us, or let him isolate himself from our mosque” ((Agreed upon)). In a narration by Muslim: “Whoever eats onions, garlic, or leeks, should not approach our mosque, for the angels are harmed by what the sons of Adam are harmed by.”
